Winkworth Farm is a family owned and operated eco-friendly wedding venue, set at the edge of the Cotswolds, near the charming market town of Malmesbury. The venue offers exclusive use for every wedding, so you can enjoy a private celebration with your guests. The beautifully renovated 17th-century Cotswold stone barn is nestled within the tranquil setting of 210 acres of organic pasture. The luscious lawns, herbaceous borders and sunken garden sit within the beautiful organic meadows, providing stunning scenery and magical backdrops for your important wedding photographs.

The venue is licensed to hold ceremonies in a number of locations. The Threshing Barn can accommodate 200 seated guests on one level. The Long Barn and the outdoor Cotswold Stone Roundhouse, set within the sunken garden, are both ideal for ceremonies with up to 150 guests. Alternatively, if you have your heart set on a Church service, Malmesbury Abbey and several local Churches accept couples from outside the local parish.

The indoor ceremony area is separate to the main barn where the wedding breakfast is held. A tempoary wall is placed between the ceremony room and the main barn so you and your guests are not distracted or affected by anything during the ceremony. Therefore if you wish to keep it a surprise for your guests, then this is not a problem.

There are wireless microphones and a sound-system within the main barn for use during an indoor ceremony, speeches and the wedding breakfast. Furthermore, a BOSE sound-system is installed in the garden for use during outside ceremonies and background music for the drinks reception to ensure all your musical needs are accommodated.

To create your wedding breakfast, we offer a fantastic selection of catering companies who are all passionate about British cuisine and using the best local produce available. We trust these caterers to ensure you achieve the exact food you envisage to accompany your day. If you are unsure about your food, then all the caterers are filled with ideas and suggestions to help you decide, including wood-fired pizzas as an evening snack.

Whilst you and your guests enjoy the wedding breakfast in the main barn, the indoor ceremony area welcomes your band or DJ, where they can set up in privacy without distracting or impacting you and your guests meal. When the wedding breakfast and speeches have finished, the partitions dividing the dance floor and main barn are removed, revealing the dance floor and creating an open-plan area so your guests are free to wander outside to the folly, dance inside or rest their feet in the main barn area, whilst watching everything going on.

On-site bed and breakfast accommodation is available for up to eight overnight guests. The Farmhouse boasts three double rooms and the Courtyard Barn is the perfect retreat for two. Additional accommodation to suit all budgets is available locally, including B&Bs, Holiday cottages, camping and hotels.
