Frensham Heights
Built in 1898, Frensham Heights is a proud and beautiful building with a wonderful heritage. It has hosted fabulous house parties at the turn of the century, been a sanctuary for wounded soldiers from the Great War like the fictional Downton Abbey and has provided the perfect backdrop to hundreds of weddings, receptions and celebrations. Within the main building, you will find an Edwardian ballroom complete with Minstrels' Gallery, a gorgeous Louis XVI drawing room and a Jacobean hall with baronial fireplace. All three are licensed for marriages. The house is also blessed with stunning grounds, including a beautiful terrace, an intimate walled garden and outstanding views. Our walled gardens are now fully licensed for ceremonies if you would prefer to have something outdoors. You will have the added advantage of an expert wedding coordinator to help you turn your vision for your day into a reality \u2013 and, if you need them, we have carefully selected a range of local businesses able to provide some of the other essentials for the day.
As part of a school the venue is only available for certain dates throughout the year. In peak season there is a minumum capacity of 85 adults. Other times of year we can quote you individually.
