Standing over the gorgeous sandy beaches of Whitsand Bay and the stunning setting of The Rame Peninsula, Heritage coasline surrounded on 3 sides by the sea. Whitsand Bay Fort is guaranteed to provide you with the perfect location for your special day.

The Fort provides you with a unique and historic setting for your wedding. The venue was originally a vaulted Napoleonic barracks, and still plays host to the original domed brickwork arches.

The Vaults Suite in the Fort can accommodate 130 guests for your wedding day, and they feature a staging area that is perfect to accommodate live bands, stylish lighting, and a really big dance floor for the all-important celebrations!

At Whitsand Bay Fort we can also provide your bridal party and your guests with a wide variety of accommodation options to suit everyone's needs, tastes and budget!

The lavish lodges hold between 2 and 4 bedrooms for 2 to 8 people, and are decorated and furnished to the highest standard! Each lodge has its own decking area, and a few of them even have their own hot tub! And as if this isn't enough, each lodge has spectacular sea and country views that span over Devon and Cornwall.

Whitsand Bay Fort is also licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships for up to 150 guests in a selection of different locations around the venue.

Elopement and midweek packages also available. We are delighted to be able to offer you a stunning and historic location for your wedding day, all of which can be set in front of the gorgeous Whitsand Bay.

The Fort is able to provide the most diverse range of reception options in the South West, tailored to you exact requirements. Las Vegas themes, Beach, Medieval, Classic and Naval for example. For formal receptions we offer an enless choice of colours,lighting, decor and seating variations to suit.
