Based in Northamptonshire, The Talbot Hotel provides you with a great atmospheric alternative to the modern hotels, our Grade I listed building that dates back to the 17th century is steeped in history and character and makes for a romantic wedding venue. Nestled in the heart of the town of Oundle, our venue is conveniently located and is a short stroll from the St Peter's and Most Holy Name of Jesus churches.

You can choose to hold you ceremony with us and have your entire wedding celebration with us at the hotel as we are licensed for marriages. The Talbot's Westgate Suite, Historic Whitwell Suite and Snug Bar are all fully licensed to hold your entire celebration in one location and ideal for anywhere between 2 to 70 guests. Alternatively, we're happy to welcome you following a church ceremony and host your wedding reception.

Our unique Westgate Suite can accommodate 70 guests for a wedding breakfast and 120 guests for an evening reception including buffet, Hog roast or BBQ options. The ground floor provides you with a private bar, sitting area and facilities and has doors that lead out onto our secret hotel garden which is ideal for those memorable pictures as well as summer reception drinks! The first floor boasts stunning beams, an original fireplace and a dance floor. Plus, to provide that extra WOW factor, the high beams can be elegantly decorated with twinkling lights to help add a magical setting for your wedding.
