Pauntley Court is a beautiful, historic family home which is launching as a new wedding venue for 2019.

Nestling amongst trees, with only a Norman Church and The Dovecote as its neighbours, Pauntley Court is in rural Gloucestershire, on the edge of the Worcestershire and Herefordshire borders. The main house is surrounded by stunning formal gardens and has spectacular views reaching across the rolling countryside. It is a truly magical and unique wedding venue, perfect for an idyllic, exclusive country house wedding.

Pauntley Court offers either a one day mid week wedding or a three day weekend wedding for up to 150 guests and accommodating in total up to 24 family and friends on site. You can arrive on the Friday and stay until the Sunday afternoon, making this wonderfully atmospheric house your own for a whole weekend. The ten bedrooms and 9 bathrooms have been sensitively modernised and are elegant and stylish with White Company linens, robes and fresh flowers.

When booking with Pauntley Court, we will work closely with you to create the wedding day of your dreams. We understand that no two weddings are the same, and therefore we are completely flexible in our approach, offering you the opportunity to make a bespoke, unique and memorable celebration.

If you wish for a religious ceremony, the Norman Church is just next door. We are currently in the process of applying for a civil weddings license but there are endless garden spaces in which to hold a blessing or humanist ceremony, using the hornbeam cloisters, quince orchard, sunken garden or the yew garden rooms.

Inside the house, an intimate wedding breakfast for up to 50 can be arranged in the elegant ball room and a drinks reception beforehand can be held in the atmospheric panelled room. For a larger wedding, we have two flat terraced areas to take a marquee for up to 150 guests.

Bursting with an understated elegance, the house and the gardens are full of character and charm, giving you a unique backdrop for your wedding photographs and providing you and your guests with unforgettable and very special memories.
