The Pauntley team behind you
“ It lies in a place of great beauty and strangeness….” John Masefield, Poet Laureate
We love to welcome couples, their families and their friends to our family home to make it their very own home for a whole weekend. We, as a family, are passionate about Pauntley and really enjoy sharing the magic and special unique character of this house and its stunning gardens.
Nestling in the Gloucestershire countryside with only the 16th century Dovecote and the Norman church as its neighbours, you will see the rosy glow of the house as you start to crest the hill.
The friendly and fantastic Pauntley Team will help you create your dreams and work with your ideas and wishes, supporting you to make sure your exclusive event is the very best it can be. Melissa loves to meet you and show you around the house and gardens and tell you all about the colourful characters that have been associated with Pauntley, beginning with Dick Whittington who was born here in 1352. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

I'm not sure we have the words to express how we feel about our wedding at Pauntley Court. I haven't stopped crying since you came to say goodbye to us!
It was the most magical, warm and beautiful experience, and wonderful to share it with our family. Our family were blown away by your beautiful house and gardens and just how special a place this is.
Please say a huge thank you to Jules for allowing us to visit and pick some flowers and for arranging some flowers for our Mums.
And a massive thank you to the wonderful Rachel. Rachel was amazing and even mind read on Wednesday morning! I was in bed thinking 'why didn't I ask Rachel to set up for breakfast, I don't want to do this'
I walked across in my Pyjamas and there was Rachel cooking bread and potatoes.
Her help made everything so much easier for us, and again our family thought she was fabulous.
Thank you, Melissa, so much, you are so lovely and wonderful.
