The stunning sweeping lawns and the unique sunken garden offer delightful and interesting backdrops for your important wedding photographs. The venue is perfect in every season, from the inviting open fires and warm oak panelling in the winter, to the immaculate landscaped gardens in the summer.

The hotel has 83 en-suite rooms to accommodate your overnight guests, ranging from four-poster rooms to Jacuzzi rooms and suites. We can also offer your wedding guests special rates on their rooms.

The Sunken Garden at Moor Hall is a woodland, fairy tale setting for your outdoor civil ceremony. The path to the Sunken Garden is lined with verbena and standard roses throughout the summer; and at the entrance stands a magnolia tree, which in springtime is in full bloom. Seasonal shrubbery borders and walls, built using stones from old local buildings, surround the Sunken Garden, along with woodlands with yew and hazel trees, making it a striking setting.

If you would like your wedding to have a private feel, we can offer you all the 40 guest rooms in our Executive block (next to the Charter Suite) for the night of your wedding so your guests can stay close to each other and the access to the Charter Suite will be blocked for other hotel guests.
