Charlton House
Charlton House is a beautiful and unique Jacobean house and wedding venue located in South East London. Built in 1607, with a wealth of history and magnificent grounds, you will be transported to the splendour of a bygone era.Acres of beautiful parkland provide a perfect setting for your special day and provide plenty of fantastic photo opportunities for you and your guests. Our walled garden can provide an idyllic setting for your arrival drinks and, should you require it, an ideal space for the traditional marquee.
The interior of the house boasts a range of grand spaces, with reception areas featuring original fireplaces, wood panelling and intricate strapwork ceilings. There are a range of rooms licensed for civil ceremonies, each with original historic features and a sense of grandeur suitable for the magnitude of the occasion.
We are happy to provide a list of tried and trusted caterers, who each offer a unique and tailored menu for you to enjoy. Alternatively, if you wish to arrange your own caterers this can be discussed.
