Nestled in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, Brompton Lakes is an idyllic lakeside wedding destination. It's perfect for couples who are looking to escape to the countryside in an exclusive venue with accommodation for their wedding celebrations.

Typically, our couples hold their wedding ceremony at a nearby church or registry office and then travel to us for an unforgettable lavish lakeside reception.

Our wedding venue is only available exclusively, so you can secure in the knowledge that you are only sharing your celebrations and location with your nearest and dearest. There are two different locations for you to place a marquee or tent, depending on the size and style of your wedding.

Our 21 luxury self-catering lodges at Brompton Lakes are beautifully situated around the two lakes at the heart of the 26-acre site. They are available to be used by your wedding party, included in the venue hire not just on the eve of the wedding itself but in the days running up to the celebration.

The bedrooms can be set up twin or double rooms, so you have even more flexibility for your guests. With 66 bedrooms at your disposal, we can host over 120 wedding guests at the lakes. Our maximum capacity for your wedding party is even higher if you have guests staying elsewhere locally, so you can host a huge party for 300.

Our largest lodge can host twelve, which means it's the ideal option for the bride and her bridesmaids or for the groom and his ushers. The further 20 lodges each have three double bedrooms, with five-star standard interiors and private decking looking over the lakes.

Everything we plan for your big day is bespoke to you and we work with a large number of suppliers to help you design the wedding weekend exactly as you imagined. Whether you want a grand banquet with flowing champagne or a hog roast and local ales, we'll make sure you have a most exclusive and stunning location in which to do it.
