The magnificent 17th century Tofte Manor can be found in the beautiful Bedfordshire village of Sharnbrook, a private home set in glorious formal gardens and lawns surrounded by 50 acres of grounds.

This venue is exclusively yours for two and a half days, from the day before your wedding for setting-up, until after breakfast the day after your wedding.

Your marquee will look magnificent on the lawns under the shade of the giant chestnut trees with the manor house as the backdrop.

If you are looking for somewhere a little different with a more spiritual feel, there is a full sized Labyrinth offering a unique venue on which to hold Blessings, surrounded by ancient trees and rolling fields. A tranquil and magical place.

For large, formal wedding parties, Tofte can accommodate up to 200 people in a marquee on the lawns. For a smaller, more relaxed celebration, the Stables Courtyard is a delightful setting for a marquee party of around 120 guests, conveniently surrounded by the wedding party's rooms and cottages.

As well as the extensive grounds, Tofte has four different rooms available in which your celebration can be held \u2013 the Drawing Room, the Dining Room, the Crystal Room and the Sanctuary.

THE DRAWING ROOM makes a beautiful gallery setting for a blessing with seating for up to 60 or for guests to sit and relax in.

THE DINING ROOM in the Manor House is ideal for splendid formal meals. This grand, spacious room measures 11 x 8 metres with high ceilings, chandeliers and large windows overlooking the sunken gardens. The dining table can seat up to 26 guests with the wedding party on a separate, high table.

THE CRYSTAL ROOM is a lovely, bright space in the Stables Courtyard, with a view onto a clipped parterre area with central statue. Well appointed for blessings or as a dance space.

THE SANCTUARY is a hexagonal, wooden building hidden in the trees. A mystical room with an artistically vaulted ceiling, an intimate space for celebrations near to the Labyrinth.

For a more casual family gathering the night before the wedding or breakfast the day after, there is a terrace overlooking the sunken gardens. Here you can have a barbecue, a light lunch or breakfast al fresco.

As twilight falls over the grounds, they become even more magical and atmospheric when lit by flares, fairy lights or a shower of fireworks. In a quiet area of the grounds, there is a specially built fire-pit where guests can sit long into the night talking.

ACCOMMODATION: There are 16 bedrooms in total, accommodating up to 35 people. The North Wing of the Manor House has 8 luxurious twin and double rooms for up to 16 people, ideal for the wedding party. The Stables Courtyard accommodates a further 17 people in more contemporary cottages and rooms. Larger groups can stay in luxury yurts or tents in the grounds, with outdoor hot water showers and conveniences. There is the option of additional accommodation (70 beds) in hotels and Bed & Breakfasts in the surrounding areas.
