The Old Mill is a beautiful rural, riverside wedding venue set in the heart of West Berkshire. The Old Mill dates back to the 1800s and used to be a flour mill until the 1920s. In the early 1900s the mill was taken over by the Arlott family and has been privately run ever since.

With panoramic river views, streams, a distinct exterior look and breath-taking gardens, The Old Mill is the perfect setting for your Wedding or Private Function.



We believe every wedding is unique which is why we don't offer packages. We tailor each wedding to personally accommodate our individual Bride and Groom.

The Mill offers a stunning backdrop for your special day, and is located in one of the most picturesque settings in the whole of Royal Berkshire. With the beautiful grounds, rural fields and waterside spots, you're guaranteed breathtaking wedding photography when you host your day here.

The Stable Room, formerly an old dairy parlour, is set within the extensive grounds and can seat up to 75 guests for a ceremony. Both the Mill Room and Stable Room can hold up to 150 guests for a reception. The Mill Room can also seat up to 90 guests for a civil ceremony, and the beautiful glass conservatory can hold up to 90 guests. So however big or small your celebration, The Old Mill can cater for you.

When it comes to your wedding breakfast, you and your guests will be treated to a delightful feast of classic dishes and old favourites with an Old Mill spin. You can also toast your marriage with a wide selection of fine wines, beers and spirits.
