With some of the most spectacular views in Cambridgeshire, The Old Hall is the perfect country venue for your special wedding day. The venue enjoys a beautiful location overlooking Ely Cathedral and is surrounded by picturesque lakes and grounds, providing a stunning backdrop for those all-important wedding photos.

The Old Hall is a family run business, set up in our family home. With our can-do attitude and a friendly, dedicated team, we strive to make your big day a truly unforgettable event. We encourage couples to make the most of all The Old Hall has to offer and allow full, exclusive use of our country home for your wedding celebrations.

We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in our all-weather oak Garden Pavilion and within the house itself. We can accommodate up to 140 guests for your romantic ceremony. In addition, we have a fantastic double-glazed marquee available for your wedding breakfast, alongside a dedicated dance marquee. The marquee boasts beautiful views out over the stunning lakes.

Our stylish Honeymoon suite has been voted one of the most luxurious bedrooms in Cambridgeshire and with its two bathrooms, dressing room and sumptuous bedroom it's easy to see why. In addition, we can offer a room for the bride to get ready and add the finishing touches to her bridal look ahead of the ceremony.

The Old Hall is well located for travelling guests; it is set just one mile from Ely and the train station, 25 minutes from the heart of Cambridge and around an hour and ten minutes from London.
