Directly overlooking Lake Windermere, the charming and romantic Newby Bridge Hotel boasts an impressive Georgian frontage with beautiful landscaped gardens to the rear. Perched high in the gardens, our stunning new Rotunda provides the perfect setting for an intimate wedding ceremony, a fabulous exterior backdrop for your photographs, and at night, a wonderfully romantic bridal suite with a skylight to the stars.

With two further rooms in the main hotel for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and/or evening celebrations we can create the perfect atmosphere, whatever the size of your wedding party. Small or large - whether you have 10 or 100 guests - we will take the utmost care of you.

Menus are offered with a strong emphasis on locally produced food and drink. Our meat comes from local farmers and the bar serves locally brewed beer, whilst fresh garden produce comes as much as possible from our kitchen garden at Yewbarrow House, Grange-over-Sands. In the evenings we can offer a selection of buffet choices, or if you prefer, a simple but filling supper dish such as the area's finest Cumberland Sausage and Mash.

When the day is at a close we have ample accommodation for your wedding guests just a few steps away. Many of our 40 rooms have four-poster beds, jacuzzi baths and/or a lake view and inclusive use of the swimming pool, steam room, spa pool and mini gym makes for a relaxing stay.

A little local knowledge goes a long way and we're here to help if you need additional services such as flowers, photographers, live music and entertainment. We offer discreet and dependable service; great locally sourced food and a fabulous Lake District location.
