Set within 250 acres of stunning wooded estate in Oxfordshire, The Great Barn is a romantic and rustic setting for your wedding celebrations. Surrounded by three picturesque lakes, the venue provides the most spectacular backdrops for your day and all-important wedding photographs.

On the day, you will have full, exclusive use of the venue. You and your guests can enjoy a private celebration in the beautiful barns and grounds, and you will benefit from the dedicated services of our experienced wedding team.

The converted, 18th-century barn is made up of two adjoining rooms: the Aynho Room and the Croughton Room. Both spaces are fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies and there is a seperate Dressing Room so you can spend your whole day here.

Both of the spaces capture the rustic charm and elegance of a barn venue with exposed beam and arrow slit windows. They also have French doors which not only allow the natural daylight into the space but open up onto the gorgeous gardens.

The Croughton Room boasts exposed stone walls, beams and wood flooring. The space can seat up to 140 guests for a formal meal and 200 for an evening reception. The Aynho Room has the bar as well as log fires and comfy leather sofas which provide the perfect atmosphere for a cosy winter wedding.

For your wedding breakfast, we offer a range of options. Our caterers can supply delicious buffets, relaxed hog roasts, or formal four course meals \u2013 the choice is yours! All of the menus can be tailored to suit your specific requirements, personal tastes and guest list.

Conveniently located on the Oxfordshire-Northamptonshire border with good access to the M40, The Great Barn is ideal for travelling guests.
