Set on a stunning working farm in the beautiful West Sussex Countryside, Southend Barn has been lovingly restored with rustic charm and romantic touches. Surrounded by truly beautiful landscaped gardens and peaceful courtyards, it is a truly magical setting for your wedding celebration.

Our simple yet romantic Dairy Barn is fully licensed for all Civil Ceremonies and partnerships. With a delightful sweeping aisle, exposed wooden beams and benches made of sweet chestnut, the Wedding Barn is a truly idyllic setting for couples to exchange vows. We have also launched a new fully licensed outdoor ceremony area, The Secret Garden.

You can dine and dance the night away in our magnificent 200-year-old Threshing Barn which emits warmth and character, with its authentic wooden beams and wrought iron chandeliers. The large windows provide you with stunning views of the surrounding gardens and stunning sunsets over The South Downs.

The Collecting Yard and Garden is a romantic and tranquil setting that features quiet hideaway, and provides a stunning backdrop for your wedding. As night falls, the gardens will come alive with the twinkling of the lanterns and the crackling of the roaring fire pit to make an enchanting evening setting.

You can prepare for one of the biggest days of your lives at Southend Barn in the calm and luxurious surroundings of our Bridal Suite, which is in its very own private courtyard within the grounds of Southend Barns. Situated just half a mile up the road is The Blacksmiths, our relaxed and stylish pub with three uniquely furnished bedrooms.
