**BREAKING NEWS**

On the 5th May 2018, Kew's breath-taking Temperate House \u2013 the largest Victorian glasshouse in the world \u2013 reopened after a five-year closure. The entire frame-work of the building has been painstakingly repaired, and its 15,000 panes of glass replaced, along with its intricate ironwork and expansive paved flooring. The result is a glistening cathedral housing 10,000 plants, making it one of the most unique venues in London.

The stunning newly re-stored Temperate House, originally opened in 1862, is a Grade I-listed show house for the largest plants. With pitched roofs and pillars support wrought-iron ribs, the House has a mix of decorative motifs, finials, pediments, acanthus leaf capitals, Coade stone urns and statues. The impressive glasshouse can host large evening dinners and standing receptions of up to 300 guests amongst 10,000 species of rare and endangered plants. With venue hire starting from \xa314,000 + VAT for the evening you can impress your guests with endless history within this completely unique space.

Kew Gardens is the perfect location for your wedding celebrations, with a botanical twist. Set within 300 acres of beautiful gardens, the World Heritage Site provides an absolutely stunning, unique venue for your big day.

Kew's former royal residence, Cambridge Cottage, is full of charm and ideal for a boutique wedding. Situated in its own private gardens, the venue boasts two rooms, perfect for both ceremonies and receptions. Up to 80 guests can be seated for a ceremony or wedding breakfast in the Georgian Drawing Room or on the manicured lawns. For the evening's festivities, the space can accommodate up to 150 guests.

For longer guest lists, we offer the option for you to hire multiple venues for combined use. You could use the Nash Conservatory for your ceremony, the Princess of Wales Conservatory for a drinks reception, and the Orangery for your delicious wedding breakfast and the following evening celebrations. All of these function spaces can accommodate up to 200 guests.

The stunning Nash Conservatory was painstakingly moved from Buckingham Palace to Kew by King William IV in 1836. The 19th Century glasshouse is a wonderfully versatile space, perfect for occasions held both in the day and by night. The unique and intriguing Princess of Wales Conservatory, renowned for its beautiful rare orchids and Chinese Water Dragons, is ideal for a relaxed canape reception. Finally, the Orangery is a light and bright space for a large celebration. The high ceilings and arched windows overlook the gorgeous lawns and terrace and allow cascades of natural light to shine into the space.

Kew Gardens is conveniently located in West London, with fantastic transport links to the city centre and Heathrow Airport.
