Located in the heart of the stunning Lancashire countryside, Shaw Hill sits like a jewel in a crown. The magnificent Georgian Mansion is set in 192 acres of mature woodland, making it a truly magical and peaceful place to say 'I do'.Licensed for civil ceremonies weddings are our specialty at Shaw Hill, with three rooms available we can cater for any size or style of wedding. The warm and intimate Gold Room is the ideal choice for smaller weddings with space for up to 50 guests. The Shaw Hill's Restaurant boasts magnificent views across the parkland and can accommodate 120 guests. For larger scale weddings, The Penina Suite, with its glittering chandeliers and opulent private reception area, has a capacity of 200.
All three of our fabulous rooms can be transformed into the perfect party venue for the evening. You can enjoy a sumptuous wedding breakfast in majestic surroundings before hitting the dancefloor and partying the night away! Our chef has won many awards for his food and only uses locally sourced fresh ingredients to ensure high quality dishes at all times. We do have guideline menus but rest assured we can tailor any menu to suit you, it's your day and it should be your way!
At the end of the evening, you can relax in one of our 30 individually styled, en-suite bedrooms. All rooms gently reflect the period of the building but feature modern comforts and benefit from 24-hour room service.
