Bring your wellies! Oldcastle is set in 50 acres of beautiful grounds set within panoramic backdrop views of The Malvern Hills. Said to be the original settlement of Colwall village it was Founded by Sir John Oldcastle, a good friend to Shakespeare who was a character reference for Henry IV's Falstaff.

The Jacobean family house is a charismatic, dog loving, friendly country house destination within easy reach to a direct London train line in the village and regional motorways. Surrounded by natural Malvern spring fed water features, lakes and ponds the land opens right up on your doorstep to many pub and dog walks!

At Oldcastle the team will always work closely with you to ensure your event is tailor-made and unique. Oldcastle is perfect for weddings from 20 \u2013 200 plus guests! With its Vicar of Dibley feel, there is a local church just a short distance from the house where blessings and marriages can take place. Alternatively there are many various spaces for indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies onsite, it really is your own private wedding hideaway.

The house is family run and it is important to the family to really help you make the most of the house and grounds; to be creative and flexible and not to be 'just another wedding venue'. Oldcastle is a Grade II listed property and a much loved family home, which includes many outside and inside historic architectural features. Within the grounds there are three luxurious Cotswold style cottages all with their own individual hot tubs \u2013 the property sleeps 20 guests in total.

A unique quality of the house and stunning grounds is the contrasting combination of formal and informal spaces, secret gardens and wild lakes. There are various rustic photo opportunity spaces across the property, which remain traditional and charismatic\u2013 perfect for any style occasion.

The Orangery is a modern, beautiful stone and glass oak pillared space with a large wood burning stove and marble chequered flooring. When using the Orangery for an event the price includes use of the space for either your reception and/or the service for up to 122 guests, more should you choose to extend it. The space includes bar, catering facilities and furniture for the reception dinner.
