Nestled within the beautiful Essex countryside, Mulberry House is a family run boutique hotel renowned for delivering wonderful weddings. With years of experience, you can rest assured that you're in great hands with our team at this fantastic venue.

While we have subtly converted Mulberry House into a beautiful Hotel and Venue with accommodation, we have kept in mind the history of the building, which offers a combination of traditional Georgian architecture with modern twenty-first century additions resulting in a truly unique wedding venue with wow-factor.

We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies and can accommodate up to 130 guests. We also have two ideal Wedding Reception venues to choose from, both of which have full working bars within the room and capacity seating between 50 to 140 guests. Our Mulberry Suite has two exquisite chandeliers and exposed beams, and our Marquee has floor to ceiling white drapes and fairy lights with a private decking terrace. Before the wedding breakfast begins, we offer the fabulous terrace overlooking the grounds and lake, perfect for hosting your drinks reception and for taking some group shots with your friends and family!

At the end of the night you and your guests can retire to our on site accomodation. We have 23 bedrooms in total, all of which are all reserved for your guests only.
