Located just seven miles from the city of Canterbury, the picturesque Marleybrook House offers a gloriously secluded setting for a quintessential English wedding.

Hidden within five acres of stunning gardens and woodland, the surrounding grounds are idyllic. Once home to star Eartha Kitt, the beautiful country house is full of quaint charm and historic character.

We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies on the premises. The four ceremony areas you can choose from include; the romantic Walled Garden, the Oak Barn, the Fairy-Tale Gazebo, and the stone arch in the Grand Marquee. Adjoining the marquee is our country-style Bar and Snug for you and your guests to relax in comfort and luxury. After the ceremony, you and your guests are encouraged to make the most of the grounds and explore.

Our Vintage Fun Fair is guaranteed to keep your guests entertained! The Fun Fair includes Victorian Swing Boats, Big Wheel and traditional side stalls, games and props.

Whether you're planning the traditional English occasion or looking for something more personal, Marleybrook House is perfect. Quirky features such as the vintage tractor and red telephone box are perfect photo opportunities and make a more unique setting for the day.

We have a luxurious Wedding Suite for the night of your wedding; facilities include an en-suite bathroom with romantic roll-top bath, large walk-in shower and Jacuzzi on the terrace. We also have a Bridal Studio in which you and your bridesmaids can prepare for the big day in luxury.
