Our 19th-century country house estate, set in 800 acres of landscaped gardens, seasonally flowering woodland and open countryside is situated in Blyth - just a few minutes from the A1 and South Yorkshire border in North Nottinghamshire. With breathtaking views, a Tudor Gatehouse and a rich heritage, our weddings combine English country house style with romance and fun.

At Hodsock Priory, we only hold one wedding event at a time so on your big day, it's all about you. You can enjoy exclusive use of our lovingly restored family home for your wedding celebrations, a timeless escape with luxury accommodation for you and your guests. We can comfortably accommodate 140 guests during the day and 200 at night.

We have 5 reception rooms - our ceremony room The Panelled Hall, The Pavilion, our light and airy dining room and reception hall, a library retreat, bar and drinks reception room. All of the formal reception rooms open onto The Italian Terrace, the perfect outdoor setting for you and your guests.

The beautiful gardens and grounds that surround the Priory are a picture-perfect backdrop for your chosen wedding theme, with dramatic seasonal flowering, throughout the year. Famed for our snowdrops and bluebells in the Spring, Hodsock is however a wedding venue for all seasons, with romance and roses in summer and cosy log fires in winter.

Hidden from view from the opulent grandeur of Hodsock Priory's more formal reception rooms are a number of guest bedrooms designed to delightfully extend your wedding stay with us. In addition to our sumptuous bridal suite with four poster bed, wedding dress wardrobe and opulent en-suite bathroom and rainfall shower room, we have 12 additional bedrooms, in the house and our converted dairy annexe, The Courtyard.
