Located on the London's Bankside next to the iconic Globe Theatre, Swan at Shakespeare's Globe is one of the capitals most romantic wedding venues. Swan has designed and hosted weddings exclusively at the Globe since 2007, and has a wealth of experience in organising stylish and unique celebrations. From the initial enquiry through to the big day itself our friendly and dedicated wedding planners will assist with arranging every last detail, from menu choices and entertainment options to stunning artisan floristry and stylish decor. Our dedicated kitchen teams are proud to serve restaurant-quality food to the table for our events.

Situated on the top floor of Swan, the Balcony Room boasts wooden floors and large French windows opening onto a private balcony with romantic riverside views. This bright, airy and elegant space is available for wedding ceremonies with the Globe Theatre or St Paul's Cathedral as your backdrop. The room will then be reset for your wedding breakfast and evening reception.

If you have bigger plans our impressive Underglobe is located beneath the Globe theatre itself and is a unique and memorable reception venue. With a dedicated Bankside entrance, a private mezzanine level, and sweeping staircase for that all-important grand entrance, this space also features a life-sized model oak tree, surround sound systems and elegant, customisable lighting. We are delighted to also be able to accomodate Asian and Kosher catering in the Underglobe. This space is only available for evening hire.
