With a variety of different options for your day, no two weddings are the same at Clifton, and their experienced and dedicated wedding team will endeavour to bring a truly personal touch to your day's proceedings.

When booking with Clifton College you have the option of either and intimate or grand celebration. With a range of different spaces perfect for any size wedding you choose to host. For smaller, relaxed affairs, there is their beautiful Cricket Pavilion, drenched in sunlight, you can relax out on the lawns with your guests as you reflect on the next chapter of your life over a barbeque or picnic. Meanwhile, for a more extravagant party, there is the breath-taking Grand Hall, with its vaulted ceiling and romantic lighting, it would be perfect for you to celebrate saying 'I do' to that special someone. However, whether large or small, what will be no different with a wedding at Clifton is the level of care you will receive from their team. Unfortunately Clifton does not have a civil ceremony licence, we currently only offer wedding receptions. Weddings are possible in the on-site Chapel for Old Cliftonians, but these have to be granted by special licence by the office of the Archbishop of Canterbury, based on strong links to the school. We are able to host wedding blessings and some of our couples have had a blessing on the Close ahead of their wedding reception in the Grand Hall.

By limiting the number of weddings they host every year, not only does Clifton remain an extremely exclusive venue, but also allows you to enter the venue the day before and enjoy a laid back celebration.
