Here at Winchester House we understand how much of an important occasion getting married is in someone's life, and ensuring that you select the right venue for your day takes a lot of thought. We offer you the chance to host your entire day under one roof, with the opportunity to hold your civil ceremony and reception in our stunning function rooms and additional gardens.

Unlike some other venues, we offer you exclusive use of our venue. Guaranteeing your wedding will be the only one taking place on your day, you can rest assured of full use of the building and surrounding grounds.

At Winchester House, we are lucky enough to have our own on-site caterers and catering manager, who will be happy to help you and discuss your menu choices with you. We can offer set catering packages, but we can of course discuss creating a menu unique to you during your visit here. Our dedicated Venue Manager will be on hand at all times during your booking to make sure that your day runs without a hitch.

For your ceremony we have our Reading Room available, which can accommodate 70 guests. For your reception, we have two spaces available. Our main dining hall can seat 80 guests and looks out over a private lawn area, which is perfect for those all-important wedding photographs or for drinks in the summer time. We also have a separate function room available for an evening reception or disco.

If you are looking for a larger reception area, we offer a double width marquee on the private lawn area. This is linked to the main dining hall by a covered walkway.
