If you have ever dreamt of your dream woodland wedding venue with a magical lake, enchanting woods full of wildlife, incredible views, nature and peaceful surroundings, Wilderness Wedding Venue in Kent, would be it.

Wilderness encapsulates everything you could want, a private rural location, hidden away in the idyllic Kent countryside, old oak trees, meadows, rolling green fields as far as the eye can see, a picturesque lake with wild swans and spectacular sunsets. We even have Glamping available on site in a privaate meadowfield. Bell tents are fully kitted our with chandeliers, hardwearing flooring and proper raised wooden beds with crisp cotton bed linen, duck down pillows, with fluffy hot water bottles and snug throws, as well as sheep skin and Persian rugs. So it would be more Glamping than camping, with hot shower and clean loos! A breakfast picnic hamper is provided too and hot tea / coffee for the morning.

The Glamping meadow fields are within each walking distance from each venue.

The fun starts from the word go! You and your guests get to enjoy a mysterious journey into the Wilderness on fun vintage buses arranged for you by the venue, so your day unravels in a extraordinary way\u2026..Guests are intrigued as to where they are going and love their group adventure \u2013 they arrive along the winding lanes for the big reveal\u20262 incredible Tipi tents sit against the skyline, nestled in amongst the hillside, vintage swing boats, a rustic champagne shack bar and intriguing wooden walkways In the wilderness and woodland beyond.

There are 3 lands here at Wilderness, Deerson Lake & meadow, St Mildreds wood and Wilderness valley. Your guests are guided throughout the lands, and what ever the weather they can take shelter in the magnificent tipis or woodland cabin.

The food here is heavenly \u2013 we have hand picked local caterers who have foraged, sourced and even grown their own fodder \u2013 delicious BBQ's, traditional hog roast, feasting menus and pretty much anything from around the globe or even grown in the field next door. Local Kentish lamb, beef, free range chicken and fish caught in nearby Whitstable. As the food it such an important element to the day, we make sure it is theatrical, mouth watering and fun.

The Atmosphere....This incredible private rural location, hidden away in the idyllic Kent countryside with old oak trees, meadows, woodland, a picturesque lake with wild swans and rolling countryside as far as the eye can see. The site is also famous for its spectacular sunsets and was the inspiration behind some of the best work from the famous painter Turner.
