Set amidst 55 acres of beautiful parkland, Theobalds Estate is a stunning venue for your wedding celebrations. As you make your way up the impressive driveway, Theobalds Estate makes a fantastic first impression. Standing proudly against a backdrop of manicured lawns and incredible Italian gardens, the striking redbrick mansion, with elegant architecture of turrets, battlements and arched windows, provides a spectacular setting for your big day.

The beautiful house was first recorded as early as 1441, and throughout its rich history, it has played host to many nobles, lords and ladies. While the gorgeous Georgian building provides an undoubtedly stunning setting, Theobalds Estate has much more to offer than spectacular photo opportunities.

When you plan your big day here, we will take care of all the little details that go into creating your dream wedding. Our dedicated, experienced team are on hand throughout to ensure that everything is planned to perfection for a smooth-running wedding day.

The venue is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, allowing you to spend your whole day in one fabulous location. We can accommodate up to 150 guests for a wedding breakfast and 200 guests for your evening celebrations.

If you're looking for something a little more modern, the beautifully refurbished Ridings Barn is a charming and exclusive reception room. The Barn opens out onto a delightful Mediterranean-style courtyard, the perfect spot for enjoying a few drinks and socialising with your guests.

The Hertfordshire venue has 140 en-suite bedrooms to accommodate any overnight guests. In addition, you and your new spouse can enjoy a complimentary night's stay in one of our rooms.
