Nestled within the village of Acton Trussell, the building is a picturesque, grade II manor house, perfect for your country wedding. The venue has undergone a careful restoration to preserve its historic charm and convert the building into a quality four star hotel. The house has been in the Lewis family since 1955 and has been hosting weddings for over 30 years.

The service you will receive at The Moat House is second to none. Our friendly, experienced, professional team will make sure that you have your dream day. We only hold one wedding per day, so you will have total exclusive use of the venue plus the undivided attention of our team. We will work closely with you to ensure that nothing is forgotten and that everything runs smoothly on the day.

You and your overnight guests can enjoy a night in one of our 41 four-star standard bedrooms. To extend your celebrations, the following morning you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with your nearest and dearest.
