Nestled in the heart of the stunning Somerset countryside in Bruton, The Longhouse at Mill on the Brue is the perfect venue for your wedding day. The environmentally designed venue is ideal for couples searching for a unique, stylish setting for their special day overlooking the tree tops of the Brue valley.

We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in three locations, so you can choose between the beautiful oak gazebo in the vineyard, the wine cellar of the Victorian farmhouse for up to 55 guests, and the Longhouse itself for larger occasions. The venue can accommodate a maximum of 140 guests for your day of celebrations & 200 for the evening. Each location has its own charm and character which complement a romantic ceremony perfectly.

The Longhouse's balcony spans the length of the venue and boasts stunning views across the charming Brue valley. Against the beautiful backdrop, you can capture some of the all-important photos for your treasured wedding album.

We appreciate that to make the most of the wonderful venue and its 25 acres of grounds, you need ample time to prepare, enjoy and celebrate. The venue is yours from the afternnoon before your wedding giving you time to decorate and meet up with the Longhouse team and caterers. The bridal flat in the farmhouse is included in the hire charge and is the perfect place to get ready ahead to of the ceremony or even stay the night before.
