St Michael's Manor Hotel is situated in the beautiful, historic Roman city of St Albans, near the stunning abbey cathedral. The hotel is set amidst five acres of incredible grounds, including a one-acre lake, which provides the perfect setting for your day and unrivalled backdrops for your cherished wedding photos.

The original house dates back 500 years and has been a hotel since the 1960s when it was converted by the Newling Ward family. The hotel is still owned by the family, who have accumulated over 50 years' experience of holding weddings on the premises.

The stunning hotel is stylishly decorated throughout, providing a fantastic selection of spaces for your wedding celebrations with up to 140 guests. With four locations licensed to hold civil ceremonies, you can spend your whole day at St Michael's Manor.

You have the option to hire the hotel for your own, exclusive use from 1pm on your wedding day to 11am the following morning. You and your guests can make full use of the restaurant-orangery, the two private function rooms, lounge and bar, terrace, lakeside jetty, summer house and the immaculate grounds. In addition, the hotel's 30 well-appointed, individually decorated rooms are available for you and your guests.

St Michael's Manor Hotel is ideally placed for travelling guests. The hotel is close to the M25, within half an hour of London Heathrow, Stansted and Luton airports. The station has excellent links to London St Pancras and is just ten minutes from the hotel.
