Sheffield Theatres holds a civil ceremony and civil partnership licence for the Crucible Stage and the Adelphi Room, as well as hosting a variety of rooms perfect for Wedding Breakfasts, evening receptions or engagement parties.

At Sheffield Theatres we are dedicated to producing bold, passionate and enriching theatre. Holding your ceremony on stage at the Crucible gives you the unique opportunity to have one of our sensational sets as your back drop.

With its beautiful twinkle light 'sky' and the capacity to seat 980 without a single person being more than 22 metres from the stage, the famous Crucible Main Stage provides the perfect space to celebrate your marriage.

The Crucible Foyer or Studio Theatre also provide excellent spaces for banqueting, both well suited for a three course wedding breakfast and evening reception.

Alternatively, the stunning Adelphi room with its floor-to-ceiling windowed exterior and outdoor balcony area offers a panoramic view of Tudor Square, providing the perfect vista for your ceremony or reception.

If possible, we also offer the chance to have photographs taken in stunning Lyceum theatre, giving you extra special and unique mementoes.
