Sewerby Hall and Gardens is the ideal venue for wedding ceremonies and holds a civil wedding licence. Adjacent to the house is the stunning Orangery; a magnificent nineteenth century glass conservatory overlooking the superb gardens with Bridlington Bay beyond. There is seating for up to 120 guests for the ceremony, or up to 70 for a reception or Vintage Cream Tea.

With an award-winning 52 acre estate and historic buildings containing impressive interiors, what better setting could you imagine for what will be the most important day of your life? Our dedicated wedding team are here to help in every way they can.



Wedding Ceremonies

Offering a blank canvas for your day, the beautiful setting of the estate and Orangery promises a day cherished forever.

Extras include co-ordinated flowers and chair covers or a wedding runner to add that romantic touch. Front of house staff will be discretely on hand at all times should they be needed and a classical pianist can be supplied.

Don't forget to include a trip along the north promenade and cliff top in our decorated Land Train. Guaranteed to make your special day even more perfect!



Wedding Receptions

A cold seated menu, finger buffet or Vintage Afternoon Teas can be provided after your wedding for up to 70 people along with various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Please note: We require two hours to reset the Orangery after the ceremony for the reception.
