As you approach the wedding venue down a quiet country lane, you are greeted by a collection of Sussex flint and brick buildings as well as the main farmhouse. Entering through an iron gate beside the gatehouse, the driveway takes you past the Farmhouse and across the grounds to the front entrance of the reception barn.

THE VENUE

As soon as you enter the barn, you are hit by the \u201cWow Factor\u201d. The whole room is swathed in beautiful ivory pleated marquee drapes. The east wall has windows overlooking the rolling fields and woodland where horses and deer roam freely, while the integrated raised dance floor and tall central pillars exude atmosphere, creating a sense of grandeur and space





Large chandeliers & fairy lights hang overhead where the sparkling lights shimmer against the ivory linings that drape the barn, creating a beautiful starlit ceiling.

With over 300 square meters of interior space, the barn comfortably holds the dining area, raised dance area and bar, so that your guests always feel together.

The dining area can be configured to accommodate 50 \u2013 200 people and all tables and chairs in the barn are supplied within the venue price.

The striking raised Dance Floor with stainless steel balustrade features two mirror balls and subtle lighting.

The Luxurious Drinks Bar area has a handsome vintage mahogany counter together with a huge wall unit salvaged from a Victorian chemist shop. Set your desired mood with the controllable wall and pillar up-lighters as the day turns to evening \u2013 elegant by day and magical at night.

The picturesque gardens also make the perfect setting for pre-reception drinks.

CEREMONY ROOM



Just one minute's walk from the wedding barn, you find the beautiful old Ceremony Room, located in a converted barn adjoining the main house. Seating up to 100 people, the Ceremony Room features timber rafters under a tiled roof and our Licence for Weddings and Civil Ceremonies lets you add additional intimate memory to your wedding.

Once you have booked the date for your wedding at Selden Barn, couples must contact the registration service directly (that's the legal requirement!) to make registrar arrangements, while we set up the room according to your specific wishes.







THE GROUNDS



Selden Barns Wedding Venue has many beautiful outdoor locations to record your amazing day. From the large garden area to the adjoining fields with horses and livestock. The flint walled buildings are oozing character and make fantastic backdrops for your special photo memories.

ACCOMMODATION



All guest bedrooms have their own private front door and exude a lovely fresh `English Country` feel, with oak floors, cream 'Egyptian cotton' bedding with fluffy duvets and traditional furniture.
