Rockingham Castle
Rockingham Castle, standing on an escarpment overlooking five counties makes an exceptional location for a civil wedding ceremony or a wedding reception. Situated on the border of Leicestershire an Nottinghamshire, it has everything you could ever want for the most perfect of wedding days.We organise your wedding with the emphasis on arranging the day that you want and not following a pre-set programme, flexibility is the key to achieving this. Civil wedding ceremonies, with a maximum number of guests of 100 (seated) can be held in the Great Hall and Panel Room between 10am and 6pm. If you are considering a church blessing, the beautiful Rockingham parish church, St Leonard's, stands in the castle grounds just a short walk away. Consent for the use of the church is by separate arrangement with the parish vicar.For a full reception Walker's House is available. We can seat up to 90 guests and with an evening buffet can cater for 150.
