Midelney Manor is a unique and magical wedding venue set in the heart of the Somerset countryside. Its been in the Cely Trevilian family for 500 years and is the perfect choice for creative and imaginative couples. Whilst it can easily be a traditional English country wedding venue there is a dash of boheimian elegance about Midelney! It's an idyllic setting surrounded by ancient oak trees, beautiful rose covered weathered walls and flowerbeds bursting with colour. There are lots of spaces on offer with gorgeous backdrops for your wedding photography. A marquee or tipi sits perfectly in the Round Garden next to the 18th century Potting Shed and if a woodland blessing is your thing then Washams Woods at the bottom of the garden is a magical setting.

The Potting Shed is a fabulous rustic barn which sits in the heart of the garden and is adorned with festoon lights, chesterfield sofas, a bar and mismatched tables and chairs. It is a versatile space which is licensed for wedding ceremonies or can be used as a bar lounge area to chill out in if you've exhausted yourself dancing in the marquee next door! With its old stonework and ancient beams covered in 1920s flower show prize cards, you and your guests will be instantly charmed by this wonderful space and its quirky charm.

Midelney offers an intimate, friendly and flexible approach, Alice the owner wants to make sure that your day is exactly how you dreamt it would be. There's a long list of trusted local suppliers including caterers and florists, but she is equally happy for you to source your own if you wish; after all it's your day and it should be your way!
