At the Mercure Newcastle George Washington Hotel Golf and Spa we offer a range of bridal packages for either full day or evening only functions. Our function rooms are fully licenced for civil ceremonies and can cater for up to 200 guests. Set within 280 acres of woodland golf course, the George Washington Golf and Country Club is the perfect wedding venue. The recently refurbished hotel offers sophisticated charm and contemporary deccor, plus numerous facilities including a golf course, leisure club and beauty salon.

The hotel now offers the Orangery, which opened in November 2014. The Orangery boasts natural daylight from large bi-folding windows and glass ceilings, providing an abundance of space. The Orangery has fantastic views of the golf course and a terrace to enable you to enjoy the great outdoors for your celebrations.
