This house, steeped in history, is large enough to be imposing, yet not so grand as to be unwelcoming. Stepping over the ancient slate floor in the impressive hallway one immediately feels very much at home.
The elevated setting of the house provides splendid views over the magnificent gardens and peaceful parkland beyond. Guests always appreciate the parkland, especially a stroll down \u201cMadam's Walk\u201d, an avenue of splendid Beech trees, as well as walks around the heavily wooded lake and along the banks of the River Lew.
