Lapstone Barn
Lapstone Barn is a traditional 18th-century stone barn, recently converted to a stunning wedding venue and set on a peaceful Cotswolds hill just 5 minutes' drive from Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.Lapstone can comfortably hold up to 200 guests for a ceremony, either inside or out as well as up to 200 for a seated wedding breakfast, prepared and served by our fabulous in house chefs.
As an exclusive use venue, every inch of Lapstone Barn's Cotswold beauty is yours \u2013 and yours alone \u2013 to use as you wish for the day of your dreams. From 10am in the morning, the Bridal party can use the delightful Hayloft, complete with the Brides own luxury dressing room to be pampered, preened and get ready with no worries about getting to the venue on time \u2013 no rush, no stress, just the perfect start to your day.
Outside of the barn, open south-facing lawns and an English courtyard enhance the elegance further. We also have a rear lawn area, perfect for the drinks reception on warm summer afternoons, or playing croquet and garden games. In the evenings we can light the fire pit and guests can relax, looking out accross the stunning views. For winter weddings and those cooler evenings, we have a fantastic Log Burner in the bar area, perfect for keeping guests warm whilst they enjoy a delicious cocktail mixed by our incredible staff.
Our in house chefs will prepare a wedding breakfast to your tastes, whether a 5 course gastronomic delight - or just Bangers and Mash and Chocolate Brownie for pudding, it will all be delicious! Then party the night away in the Stone Barn, with a live band or incredible DJ.
Rest assured, your wedding at Lapstone Barn will be one of a kind. Not only does our barn stand apart from other Cotswold wedding barns (in terms of its space, its cost and its aesthetic), it also comes with an experienced team who work with you to create the wedding you want, not the wedding you're told to have.
A Georgian Farmhouse also allows for 8 to 10 guests to stay on site for the night of the wedding, meaning no need to worry about taxis!
