Located on the River Taw amidst six acres of beautiful grounds The Fox and Hounds Country Hotel is a mutli award wedding venue offering exceptional service, fantastic quality food and a stunning Riverside location. We offer an incredibly flexible approach to weddng planning and pride ourselves on our adaptability to allow your most heartfealt desires to come true

Our friendly, professional team will guide and assist you from the enquiry stage right up to the departure of the happy guests the morning after your big day. We only hold one wedding per day so you can rest assured you will receive the full attention of our dedicated team and enjoy the hotel facilities for your private and exclusive use. For a more intimate and unusual celebration Treetops Treehouse located within the grounds is licensed too and has to be seen to be believed!

Treetops sleeps 4 with fully fitted kitchen, lounge with log burner (yes a fire!), master suite with copper bath and separate shower. The maximum number of guests for an intimate wedding is 10 (total) or it can be booked for the bride and groom as the ultimate honeymoon hideaway. The hotel boasts a range of newly refurbished rooms for your guests to enjoy. We can host the whole wedding on site or just the reception if you are hoping for a local church to tie the knot in and can be very flexible with style of event, whether you would like a formal banquet or afternoon tea in one of the new mini marquees on the lawn.

For outside ceremonies the stylish summerhouse offers a class backdrop for the celebration or the indoor chapel is simply stunning for the winter months. There are 6 acres of grounds in total and the two picturesque lakes and River Taw offer stunning photo opportunities for shots you'll cherish forever. The hotel also boasts a seven foot wide, four-poster bed in the Eggesford Suite \u2013 the largest in Devon.
