Creeksea Place offers you a truly romantic, fairy tale wedding venue in Essex. The stunning 16th-century Tudor mansion offers the perfect setting for an incredibly special day.

When you plan your day at Creeksea Place, you will enjoy exclusive use of the whole venue. You and your guests can have a relaxed, private celebration and enjoy the undivided attention of our dedicated wedding team. Our experienced event manager will be on hand every step of the way to ensure everything is perfect.

We can hold your civil ceremony in one of six wonderful locations within the venue. For an indoor ceremony, the Panelled Room, Music Room and Regency Room are all beautiful settings. If you have your heart set on an outdoor service, the Tudor Garden, Walled Garden and orchard all boast spectacular surroundings. We can accommodate up to 200 seated day guests and an additional 150 for your evening reception. New for 2018 our seventh licensed area, the beautiful floating gazebo on the lake.

You can have a relaxed drinks reception in the walled garden or on our lawn, which boasts stunning views across the lake and Victorian Bridge. The gorgeous gardens also provide the perfect spot to capture a few special moments on camera.

For your wedding breakfast, you can dine and celebrate in a wonderful garden marquee. The silk-lined marquee boasts views of the stunning house and across the grounds. This location within the venue is the ideal place to appreciate how elegant the venue looks by night. When the sun sets, we illuminate the house with spotlights, oil burners and candles, giving the whole venue a new, enchanting atmosphere.
