Altskeith Country House on Loch Ard is a magical location for a wedding. We are a unique wedding venue in the idyllically set near in Stilingshire, boasting unrivalled magnificent views.

Set within the Trossachs National Park with a waterfront location, close to Loch Lomond, Altskeith Country House has its own private beach with the majestic views towards Ben Lomond. Its stunning location is ideal to capture wedding photos to treasure for a lifetime.

We are able to cater for small weddings during mid week, or, for larger weddings we can cater up to 96 guests for a formal meal and up to 120 evening guests in the house. All exclusively yours, for the entirety of your celebrations

Our weddings are fun and relaxed. We love to arrive in the morning of a wedding to find guests staying at the house walking around in their PJs. Its a real homely feel we try to create. There is a structure and flow to the day but we keep it as relaxed as possible.

Photographs are your lasting memory of your special day and we provide as many opportunities as possible to create some unique and lasting memories. Whether its a photo from our private beach, a quiet moment for the two of you on our boat, or a group shot with Ben Lomond in the background we will provide the support to make this happen.

We love quirky weddings, unusual ideas, anything, we will try out best to make it happen. Some of our favourite moments are alternative footwear for the beach, getting married in wellies in the Burn, toasting the speeches with Iron Bru. You name it and we will do out best to make it happen.

We can recommend a list of tried and tested suppliers from a Piper to greet your guests, to flowers, Registrar, Humanist and music specialists. We are here to help and with our experienced team will provide all the help and support you need in order to fulfil your dream wedding wishes.
