Lovingly named in his memory, Fothergill's hall is the perfect venue for an unforgettable day, whether it is for the civil ceremony, wedding breakfast or evening party. The Spread Eagle hotel offers an unrivalled location in the heart of the South Oxfordshire countryside overlooking the market town of Thame. Seating up to 160 guests and accommodating up to 200 for an evening party, we offer bespoke packages where every element of your day can be individually tailored. The John Fothergill Hall has its own private bar facilities, ample parking and with 35 comfortable bedrooms; you can be assured of an intimate and enchanting setting for your special day. We also have more intimate rooms available for smaller gatherings, civil ceremonies and civil partnerships.
