The Hopton Crown
For the most important day of your life you need everything to be absolutely perfect. That's our aim here at the Hopton Crown \u2013 to ensure that you have the perfect wedding reception possible.The Hopton Crown is nestled deep in the heart of the beautiful Shropshire countryside between Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow. It has welcomed guests for centuries as a coaching inn, and has lots of charm and character features. Since a complete refurbishment in 2018 it also offers modern facilities.
The Hopton Crown has two lovely dining rooms, a large terrace and extensive gardens with a duckpond. While we're not the largest venue around, we can offer a truly special bespoke experience for up to 100 guests. Our food is famous throughout the area, and you'll have the chance to discuss the menu for your wedding breakfast with our chef, who can create a truly bespoke experience.
We don't have a licence for ceremonies (yet) but we are next door to the beautiful Hopton Wafers Church \u2013 a lovely venue for a church service.
For your overnight guests, the hotel can offer a luxurious night's stay in one of the twelve beautiful guest rooms or one of our stunning two-bedroomed cottages in the grounds.
