Surrounded by fields and beautiful countryside, yet within striking distance of Taunton, the County Town of Somerset, The Flying Fish Wedding Barn is your perfect rustic barn wedding venue.

The Barn is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and can accommodate up to 235 people standing and 100 max seated for a wedding breakfast. Furnished with farmhouse style long wooden tables and modern chiavari limewashed chairs under a canopy of twinkling fairy lights and bunting, it really is an enchanting setting for your special day. With its own bar, full PA system and mood lighting, everything is literally under one roof. Outside the barn, is a spacious garden area, overlooking fields, providing the perfect backdrop for your all-important wedding photographs.

Your hosts, husband and wife team Buddy and Kate, are experienced wedding caterers who also run a very successful contract catering business www.sunshinecatering.co.uk.

Our delicious in-house catering options include sumptuous hot and cold buffets, Caribbean cuisine, hog roasts and BBQs. You may however bring your own catereing subject to the necassary Health and Safety documentation, Insurance and caterers fee.

On site the Flying Fish stables provides 6 double and 2 twin well-appointed, spacious, en-suite rooms (2 of which are fully accessible) providing accommodation for you and your guests. As if it wasnt perfect enough we have the added bonus of a charming newly refurbished country inn the Flying Fish Pub on site with a wonderful conservatory overlooking the most glorious country views and serving delicious Caribbean food washed down with rum cocktails
