Built in 1625, the grand Manor House boasts stunning original features throughout, including its Jacobean fireplace, the Minstrels' Gallery, and beautiful wood panelling. The hotel is a fine example of an English Manor House and is set in eight acres of landscaped grounds, some overlooking Letchworth Golf Course in the first ever garden city.

The Great Hall is just one of our beautiful rooms that are fully licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies and can accommodate a wedding party from 10 guests for a small and intimate ceremony, to 180 guests giving you full flexibility with your guest list. The hotel has two recently renovated function suites that can hold 50 - 250 people for your wedding breakfast with room for more guests in the evening, and our quietly efficient staff will provide a welcoming and caring service on your special day. Both suites are fully air conditioned with private entrances and self-contained bars, with easy access to the bedrooms. The Alington is the largest of our suites with a capacity of 250 evening guests and has modern furnishings with LED lighting that creates the perfect atmosphere for your day. The Marston Suite has a smaller capacity of 100 guests and has an impressive view, as it opens out onto our spectacular grounds and has the added benefit of a private patio area for your guests to mingle. Our aim is to create a home from home experience and we can guarantee a block of our 87 newly refurbished bedrooms for you and your guests at the end of the night. While staying with us you and your guests will receive complimentary use of the state-of-the-art fitness facilities, swimming pool, steam room and sauna available at the Nuffield Health Club - the perfect place to relax before or after your big day.
