The Plough Alnwick
Located in the historic market town of Alnwick and near to Alnwick Castle, the Plough Alnwick offers a relaxing and beautiful environment to enjoy your special day. These days, The Plough hosts spectacular weddings and parties against the beautifully restored backdrop of the historic inn and they warmly invite you to join them on your big day.
The charming venue offers two spaces for your ceremony and reception, with Restaurant Amelie offering an intimate and rustic setting for your civil ceremony and dining for 35 guests. The Coach House can accommodate 85 for ceremonies, 110 for the wedding breakfast and up to 150 for the evening reception. This space boasts a contemporary yet cosy feel with a magnificent staircase built for making a grand entrance. You can choose to use just one area or a combination of both and enjoy some chill-out time during the day in the stylish and relaxing bar.
The Plough has a fantastic reputation for food and their Head Chef offers a range of delectable delights for you to choose from. It's your day and it should be your way, so you're free to mix and match the suggested menu, add in additional items and even make up your very own! To make sure everything is perfect, you'll be offered a private tasting consultation.
As your special day draws to a close, you will be welcomed into your very own private sanctuary, the bridal suite. The bridal suite features sumptuous decor and everything you need to relax and unwind at the end of the day.
