Welcome to The Barn on The Bay, a new coastal farm wedding venue at Druridge Bay in Northumberland.

Our Venue has the best of both worlds; Coast and Country. We are based at Hemscott Hill Farm, a working farm right next to the beautiful beach. We have a rustic barn that is transformed each spring into a large wedding barn complete with bales and tables, a rustic bar, chill out area with straw bale sofas, and plenty of hessian, burlap and bunting to keep the rural theme. The Barn is a stones throw from a 7 mile stretch of sandy bay and we open up the dunes for you to use for your ceremony if beach weddings are your thing. The Barn is licensed so you can just pop back to the wooden verandah to sign the register.

As well as the Barn and the Bay you get a courtyard and paddock to use as you wish, complete with a vintage horsebox bar which can even be moved into the dunes for post ceremony fizz. There is plenty of accommodation too with barn accommodation to sleep 18, a shepherd's hut, beachside camping, a cottage and even bell tents if your guests don't like to 'rough it'!

The farm alpacas are available to turn up at your wedding and mingle with your guests too, they're pretty unforgettable though so might just steal the show!

We're a laid back, friendly and inclusive, family run venue. Dogs belonging to the couple are welcome and you can bring your own suppliers (except bars). Hire the venue for the day or the whole weekend, ask us to provide food or bring your own caterers, it's totally up to you.
