The Kings Chapel is a hidden gem nestled in the beautiful, patchwork quilt of the Chiltern Hills.
The Main Hall, has a beautifully distinctive shape with the original pulpit from 1906 and a mezzanine gallery. Our welcoming and completely seperate drinks reception room is just next door with beautiful wooden floors and vintage hanging chandeliers.
We can seat up to 120 guests for your ceremony and Wedding breakfast, then party with up to 200 guests in the evening.
Don’t worry about drinks, we have a newly refurbished private bar for your wedding guests, adjacent to the Reception Room. Our upstairs space is ideal for a “restless kids play room” or if your Wedding is a #nokids affair – a space to refresh your hair and make-up. At the rear of the Chapel is our stunning private walled garden with our up-cycled horse-box bar. Perfect for summer ceremonies, drinks receptions and full of photo opportunities.
Staying the night…
We offer on-site accommodation and parking for you and your guests travelling afar – The Kings Arms and The Crown Inn- both on the Old Amersham High Street, just a short stroll from the Kings Chapel.
When you visit us for your show around, you will also get the chance to look around our romantic, newly refurbished Honeymoon Suites.
Don’t worry, we have rooms that offer disabled access and a family suite so everyone can enjoy the party.
Our quirky 4* hotel bedrooms on site at the Crown Inn and The Kings Arms Hotel are full of character and history. The low ceilings, wooden beams and crooked floors will take you back in time.
You also have the added bonus of nightcaps in the Kings Arms Bar until 2am when your Wedding guests stay at in the hotel.
